Penny- Thanks so much for the Mock Caldecott and Newbery results. I must say, that it is so interesting to see what others are thinking. The picture book results and not all that inspiring to me. What are you favorite picture books of the year? It seem like a stronger year for writing. We probably ought to do a poll at the beginning of ALA to see what committee members are predicting for Newbery and Caldecott. What do you think? Hope you had a merry Christmas. Susan
