While the characters were hard to keep track of in BAT 6, I did feel I got to know them well enough to tell them apart. Each girl really did have her own personality. What I found difficult to remember was which team each girl belonged to. At first I kept flipping back and forth to look through the roster, but after about half way through the novel it just didn't matter any more. It really wasn't about the teams it was about the girls and their experience.

This discussion also brings to mind SMACK, a book we discussed earlier this year. I recall that many of us found the mutilple perspectives in that novel kept us from connecting with any one character.
