Times New Roman I especially appreciate the way Jan Ormerod conveys the richness, interdependence, and diversity of various family and friendship configurations without having to spell them out or preach about them. The somewhat frenetic mood certainly reflects many of our lives, at the same time offering lots of busy detail for kids and adults to peruse and puzzle over repeatedly. The humor of the mixed messages, such as the picture of the three mothers relaxing in the yard, captioned doing yard work, will appeal to all ages.
It's fun to follow the numbers throughout, and to keep an eye on the cat's travels. And who does the cat belong to anyway?
