CCBC'ers: Remember something I wrote recently about clarity and type and all that good stuff? Remember what I said about designers killing books? Hark and lo & behold: that is exactly what happened when design and fuzzy illustration took over a very clear text. So--we can appreciate the text but be disturbed about the design which made some items unreadable.
Then what do we do? I know what I did but won't be around to defend myself for a time. I'm taking a break at our house by our local ocean where I am beyond the reach of E-mail.
