I don't have an announcement, but I do have a question about
"nonlinear" prose, which is, Has anyone actually studied nonlinea thinking in children? I am willing to believe that a generation raised on TV and computers is much less linear than the generation before it; publishers obviously cater to this by putting out nonfiction books
(including most textbooks) with lots of sidebars and drop-ins and multiple imagery on a page. I just want to know who has checked this out with kids, how they checked it, and what conclusions they came to. Don't even know how to start researching this question. Does anyone have any ideas?
