OK, I've read Betsy's review, and have not yet seen the book, living and working in a small town far away from anywhere else as I do.
On the basis of the review, I will hold off buying the book. Due to limited dollars and space, I need a good reason beyond curiosity to spend the money. Awhile back, I held off on Faith Ringgold's first picture book, then eventually bought it, once I had more information, and had seen it for myself.
