I am waiting with bated, baited, bated breath for my copy of Dear genius so I can't comment on that, but I just wanted to say that I really loved the Margaret Wise Brown book. I had been very curious about her for a long time, so it was perfect. I plan to reread it soon. I still think hers are some of the best picture books around, and I like the old Leonard Weisgard illus. with them too, though some think they are dated. RED LIGHT, GREEN LIGHT is a great example of their amazing work. Children still really enjoy that book. I read it to Kindergarteners quite often. I still feel really sad that she died before her time, and especially on the verge of a new, happier life.
