Although the editor is not always mentioned in books, there are many authors who commend their editors in notes, the forward, introduction, and other places in the book. In films all of the people who work on the film get credit. Why shouldn't the editor? The publisher gets his name on the book and without the editor, there would not be books to publish!! Michele
