I just finished reading this wonderful book earlier this week. As with other great books, there was the sense of regret in coming to the end. But, thank you, Leonard Marcus, for this gift. I wish I could thank and hug Ursula Nordstrom for her gifts. Each time a librarian put a pot hole in her road, I wanted to hang my head in shame. Miss Nordstrom, wherever you are, I hope you might know that there are thousands of us today who revere the work you did in championing children's literature. Those were the days, huh? Carol P.
