Ellen Finan mentioned that she wanted her 13-year-old daughter to read this book, and her message made me wonder if the educators on this list thought the book would interest teens?

I think bookish, writerly teens would be enthralled by UN's quick wit. She's just so damn smart! How could any teen not fall in love with her? Plus: teens love reading and writing letters...
