In response to the "f&pc" librarian's comment about stereotypical bib overalls in The Relatives Came: I don't think my Iowan farming relatives ever work without bib overalls. I believe they even keep a stack of them next to the mud boots on the porch. My uncle, a die-hard farmer and proponent of farm living, has loved sharing the book with his grandchildren ever since I gave it to him a few years ago, and if he was offended by any stereotypes, he hasn't shared that with me.
