As July comes to a close, we invite you to share your final comments on the books of Cynthia Rylant.
Thank you to everyone who has thought so deeply and written so eloquently about Cynthia Rylants works. Your comments, perceptions, challenges and insights have made for a great discussion.
We'd like to extend a special thank you to Richard Jackson and Carolyn Brodie for taking the time to share their unique perspectives on Cynthia Rylant's work. Dick's insights as editor of many of Cyndi's books, and Carolyn's as someone who has know her for 10 years both professional and personally, added wonderful dimensions to the discussion.
Over the next couple of days, do share any additional comments you would like to make about any of Cynthia Rylant's books. On Monday, August 3, we will begin discussing Dear Genius: The Letters of Ursula Nordstrom, collected and edited by Leonard S. Marcus
(HarperCollins, 1998). Leonard Marcus will be joining us for the discussion, and we look forward to hearing his perspectives on editing such a fine collection of correspondence.
