I know this is off the topic, but it is an urgent message which will be of concern to many in this community:

The Coretta Scott King Award Breakfast is always a highlight of the American Library Association annual conference. This year's winners were discussed earlier on this list. Unfortunately, the Breakfast was inadvertently omitted from the preliminary program, so ticket sales have been slow in coming in. Everyone reading this message who will be attending ALA will find the Breakfast inspiring and enjoyable. It will be Tuesday morning, June 30, 7:30-9:00 a.m., at the Washington Hilton. Please, when you register, head straight for the Conference Meal Ticket booth and get your ticket. All who have attended the CSK Breakfast will confirm that you will enjoy a memorable morning.
