Hi All, I've been enjoying the discussion about humor and want to add my bit. I think Christopher Curtis's The Watsons Go to Birmingham63, is pretty funny, even though the pivotal episode re the church bombing is quite serious. I like his approach. And the Kid Caramel books from Just Us Books have humor. Folks have told me that my Front Porch Stories at the One-Room School and Don't Split the Pole: Tales of Down-Home Folk Wisdom are pretty funny, too. Eleanora E.
