I didn't think of Gary Paulsen as an especially hilarious author until I came across"Harris and Me." Of course it is a Roadrunner sort of humor - chapter after chapter of seemingly near death experiences. Some years my fourth graders love it, some years not. This year's group was mixed. However, they are currently reveling in Curtis's "The Watson's Go to Birmingham- 1963"
