I'm looking for any recent articles that criticize the bringing in of multicultural literature in the classroom. I know it sounds very politically incorrect these days which is why I think I will have a difficult time finding anything. But I throw this out to the CCBC community on the chance that someone has run across an argument against multicultural lit.
I'm a returning student at the UW-Madison in teacher education. Please respond to me directly at my personal e-mail address. (I don't want to get any lashes from the CCBC staff for making my request public and taking away from the current discussion on Russell Freedman.)
Thanks to anyone that can offer any assitance.
