Amen to KT Horning's statements about the Dear America series---although the editors will say that they are interested in the child, not the adult reader.
However, we are the adults that will be introducing these books to some of the children. And I do wonder how the authors feel with no recognition on the cover or spine for the creating of the novel.
I do not see how the listing of the author would be a problem for the children who read these books. Children ask for many books through the name of the series, or, indeed, the names of the characters!!!
