I don't understand what you mean by the last sentence ("Sometimes this may be the greatest..." If you are referring to the greatest value getting the feedback from children, then I would certainly agree. And further -Rapunzel- is a good example of that. But, if that is not what you mean, then what are you referring to? (Please bear with me folks, some fool doctor put me on steroids this week & I'm having trouble concentrating.)
To date (oops, there goes that lawyer language), every child or young person who has shared
-Rapunzel- with me has found something different to focus on. (I, myself, keep thinking that I liked Zelinsky's style in -Swamp Angel- better. But, that is another topic.) Any librarians or school teachers out there with stats on -Rapunzel-? I can tell you that here in Chicago (along the Magnificent Mile) the stores were caught off guard, but managed to get the books in stock very quickly. Of course, Mr. Zelinsky grew up in a Chicago suburb and his parents still live there.
