The announcement of this and other ALA Children's Literature Award winners will be made this Monday, January 12, at the ALA Midwinter meeting in New Orleans, and we will post a message on CCBC-Net announcing these books as soon as we have the information compiled. We will spend the rest of Januaray on CCBC-Net discussing the winners and honor books announced. We look forward to hearing from you! In the meantime, please continue to share your thoughts on 1997 books you especially enjoyed.
