This is my first tentative toe-splash into your discussions. I was introduced to a book by Nikolai Popov titled "Why?' It has no text, just illustrations, featuring a frog and a rabbit (originally). It's one of the most powerful statements about war that I have ever read/seen. It could stimulate discussions in any age group from elementary through high school.
