The high school students I work with often say they want to read stories only about people their age.....they don't seem to plan to be any other age and like Peter Pan will stay at this one. _Seedfolks--pulls us into other ages and stages. And while it will perhaps take someone to put the seed of its go-and-grow-together message into the hands of readers/listeners, that it seems to me is what we teachers and librarians want to do.
We plant the seeds. The garden and the adults grow from it. So will this book's impact.
