This message may be of interest for those of you who are attending the Midwinter ALA meeting in New Orleans. On Sunday, January 11 from 2-4:30 p.m. there will be a meeting of the Special Collections of Children's Books for Adult Research Discussion Group. This will be a meeting where we'll be deciding the future direction of this discussion group, as well as discussing some pertinent issues like collection development.

We'll also be discussing the new book- Building a Special Collection of Children's Literature - that is soon to be published by ALA Editions. This manual is a product of the National Planning of Special Collections Committee.

You'll need to check your program to determine the meeting place. Hope to see you there!
