I recently gathered a list of PB titles for a teacher/school librarian who was looking for books with comic book dialogue to inspire and motivate a reluctant but capable 2nd grade writer. I think this idea could work for students older than this also.

Ever since we first started purchasing Maira Kalman's books, we have wondered if they should be shelved with books for older kids rather than as Picture Books. Has anyone out there in public libraryland decided to do that? I know of several adults who find her books entertaining. I sometimes wish we had an area in the library for books that would span the ages. A display now and then could help.
