K.T.'s question about Molly Bang's new book sent me scurrying to find what she was referring to. This is a book that packs a whallop. The simplicity of the language is incredible considering the seriousness of the subject. The way she develops the concept by starting back in early times in the United States and bringing the reader forward is very effective. One has to really look at the attractive patchwork-like illustrations to notice all the detail included there that isn't in the text. Those are my first impressions. Thanks K.T. for pointing it out.
