As one who fell into the trap of accidentally sending a message meant for one member to the entire list (something the author preceding me did as well), you might consider mentioning in your reminders to the group that hitting the reply button will cause this your message to go out to all of CCBC, and that one needs to type in the individual's email address. Though perhaps that hint already appears in your instructions...

Your current subject, Charlotte Zolotow, is my former editor of many years. She's also a person who doesn't have an electric typewriter, much less a computer. I called her to let her know she was about to be discussed--she knew nothing about it. You may get a message from her neighbor, who's online and who will try to retrieve the messages (I don't know his name). She also wanted to get May's messages--for which reason you instructions on doing so were well timed.
