It's unclear to me where the conversation about folk tales began, but I'm guessing that someone involved in it thinks s/he is writing to one person rather than to the entire CCBC-NET community. We're delighted you are having this conversation, and we encourage you to refresh yourselves as to sending messages to one person only... Back to Paul Fleischman's works: I'm very interested in the comments about your experiences of reading aloud the poems from Joyful Noise and/or I Am Phoenix - with other adults or with young readers. Do others want to comment on any of the poems themselves, in addition to remarking about your experiences with them?
