Greetings!
Note that the last month's discussion has been added to the archives under the file name "mar1997". To retrieve a copy of the file, send an e-mail message with the following header...
To: listserv at ccbc.soemadison.wisc.edu
Subject: get ccbc-net mar1997
There are nearly two full years of archived CCBC-NET discussions! To search the archives for a particular author or title, use the listserv's SEARCH command. Be forewarned that it is case sensitive, and a lower?se author's name will probably return an empty result. To search for a specific author, in this case Sharon Creech, send the following e-mail message...
To: listserv at ccbc.soemadison.wisc.edu
Subject: search ccbc-net Sharon Creech
The listserv will reply to your search request whether or not it was successful. If no matches are found, the listserv will reply with a message containing only the lines shown in Example 1. Yes, it is not clear and would be better if the listserv would indicate no matches. (Maybe the developer will consider this in the next revision; I'll ask.)

===================================== Once you have the name of an archive file, that name can be used to retrieve the file. It is used in the same way as the retrieval of last month's discussion described above. Send an email message addressed to the listserv and with the GET command in the subject line. A message sent with the following header retrieves the archive file "aug1995".
To: listserv at ccbc.soemadison.wisc.edu
Subject: get ccbc-net aug1995
Good luck with your searches, and please don't hesitate to send me a message if you have a problem.
Cheers, Chris
