My highest recommendation for Joyful Noises. The poems are all about insects. Fleischmann has a sequel--I don't have it in front of me but it has
"Phoenix" in the title and all the poems are about birds. Not only will you have a good time reading these poems together, they are sure to spark creative efforts among your students.
