Hi, Everyone,

I'm new here, a children's book author, and find this board really interesting. Some of my favorite short chapter books are Stargone John and Dian Curtis Regan's Monster Club series. Also, to toot my own horn, my writing partner Stephanie Gordon Tessler and I have a short chapter book published by Candlewick called What's the Matter, Kelly Beans? Kelly is going into third grade and so are the boys in her neighborhood. One of the boys in this story also has trouble reading. Hope the parents are getting a pat on the back for their concern, and kudos to all of you for helping them.
