Pat Wende recently posted a message to the CCBC-NET community regarding books that are being challenged in her school district. Just now she assured me that she welcomes your messages about this situation. Send them directly to her(pawende at spasd.k12.wi.us). Wisconsin members of the CCBC-NET community can rest assured that at this time CCBC Intellectual Freedom Information Services are being provided regarding Pat's situation. Thanks, Susan, for your recent generous congratulations about the 1996 SIRS/WLA I.F. Award to the CCBC and to me. These services are available only to Wisconsin teachers and librarians and others associated professionally with Wisconsin schools and libraries. If you live in Wisconsin, please contact the CCBC immediately if you have an intellectual freedom situation. Please use an e-mail address that will assure confidentiality, if that is your preference
(gmkruse at facstaff.wisc.edu). Sincerely, Ginny Moore Kruse
