My comment is in reference to Dorian Chong's message that few Newbery winners have appeared on the Children's Choices list. The books that are submitted for the 5 Children's Choices sites are selected by the participating publishers. The Newbery winner for a given year may not have been one of the books that was field tested. Thus, it would not be possible for it to have been on the Children's Choices list. Carol H.
