Yes, to your suggestions Poetry IS tough to teach.. Like most things I try to teach, I don't do it well or enough,,, But I've found little nugget that may be of value... One old friend seems constant,,but may be new to a few of our readers,, John Ciardi. His poems of cats and strange children seem to have that inside voice that says he's writing for himself. Jack P. and Uncle Shel..to me,, sometimes write to kids because...they do(?). Thank you and my apologies to John. Stuall _at_aol.com
