I agree that Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse is outstanding. I sent it to my seven year-old granddaughter, and she loved it--took it to school for "show and tell". I also recommend "Officer Buckle and Gloria" as fun reading for anyone. I think sometimes that children's books should be required reading for adults. Jennie Cross Oakland Schools Waterford, Michigan
