CCBC Events: Lois Lowry

The Friends of the CCBC will host a free, public lecture by author Lois Lowry on Thursday evening, October 10, 7:30pm, at the Holiday Inn - Madison West. Although Ms. Lowry's speech that evening will be geared to an adult audience (rather than being a "family event"), she and the Friends agree that her young readers will most certainly be welcome that evening.
Lois Lowry's books will be available for sale throughout the evening. She will be available for autographing following her speech. All books will be sold at a 10% percent discount. Friends' members and people with Highsmith Education Station Teacher Discount Cards will receive a 20% discount that evening. It will be possible to join or renew membership in the Friends at that time.
Please tell anyone you know who might want to take advantage of this opportunity to meet and hear one of today's outstanding authors of children's and young adult literature. The auditorium is large enough for all!
Holiday Inn - Madison West is located at 1313 John Q. Hammonds Drive, Middleton, Wisconsin. From State Highways 12/14, use the Greenway exit.
