CCBC-net is getting better and better all the time. I'm really enjoying all the insights about "The Cuckoo's Child" this month. I'm looking forward to starting each day with CCBC as much as I do my early morning caffeine. Today, I just wanted to point out an interesting article in this week's Time magazine (Sept.9) about the two new editions of Little Black Sambo. There's some interesting comments and interviews in it. I was very surprised to learn that HarperCollins still sells 20,000 copies of the original version each year! I haven't received my copies of the new Pinkney/Lester and the new Marcellino versions, but am looking forward to seeing the new face-lifts.
