Speaking of book covers - have you heard Avi or Cynthia DeFelice talk about what the paperback publishers did to True confessions of Charlotte Doyle and Weasel. Charlotte looks like the cover of a romance novel - cleavage and all. Weasel's cover sets the boy in the wrong time period by dress. Both authors were VERY unhappy, but apparently have no control over what is put on the paperback ed.
