What Jamie Saw' first two pages are magical, poetic, scary and can't put it down gripping. I was drawn to the book by the cover picture of the odd, lanky looking boy. I thought this in not a slick "pretty" book, this boy is weird looking.
The cover drew me in to the book and the first two pages hooked me. How it will play out in classrooms and libraries I do not know yet. My copy of the book is still making the rounds of adults.
