I see that this information has already been posted, but I thought I'd provide you with the CCBC's information sheet on the American Library Association's (ALA) children's literature awards, announced at a press conference on Monday morning, January 22, 1996, at the American Library Association (ALA) Mid-Winter Meeting in San Antonio, Texas. (Note: in the following listing ALSC refers to the Association of Library Services to Children; YALSA refers to the Young Adult Library Services Association. Both are divisions of ALA.)
