Hi, This weekend I read the most delightful and funny book which I feel would be a great read aloud for 7 8 and even older grades. I felt compelled to share. The book is called Squashed by Joan Bauer and it would probably take about three hours to read. I was laughing out loud to the very last page. Its about a 16 yr. old girl who grows pumpkins. The book has all the ingredients for a great read aloud. The book would be great for the fall months but may also work any time of the year.
