Nina's comments on the two poetry books makes me think of another poetry book I appreciated this year, Arnold Adoff's STREET MUSIC: CITY POEMS, illustrated by Karen Barbour. This book is so full of energy and observation. It's a real "city" experience. The poems are a pleasure, lively and thoughtful and fun. And the art is a perfect compliment - pulsing with color and activity and humanity!
