I've been away for several days attending the USBBY Regional Conference in Georgia, where I also had the pleasure of meeting several members of the CCBC-NET community. We heard superb speakers, including a powerful final speech given by Margaret Mahy. Perhaps some of the people who heard Margaret Mahy on Saturday night or talked informally with her will comment on this... Please do.
And... what a treat to return and discover your lively responses to The Well and to Mildred Taylor's books. Keep it up, you've raised important and interesting questions. Ginny
