Susan, it's great to read your comments about the Myers books on the CCBC-Net! We miss you in our live monthly book discussions... So in an attempt to simulate these discussions, I want to ask you to elaborate on a point you made.
You wrote that neither of the mothers in "Fallen Angels" or
"Scorpions" was able to give her son what he seemed to need or want. What is it you think they needed/wanted from their mothers (or society at large)?
