Please continue with your comments about the "Timelessness," the Margaret Mahy books, the Isthmus article, a book you've recently read and want to recommend and why (or not - and why), and anything else you want to comment on or discuss with the CCBC-NET community.

I want to remind everyone that we'll be discussing two books by Walter Dean Myers beginning September 1. (See my posting on August 13 or 14 for details.) If you have a three?y weekend coming up, you may want to locate copies of Scorpions and Fallen Angels to read or reread, so you can join in. I reread both books during my August vacation. Once I began, I could not put either of them down.

I also want to say that you are always welcome to raise questions or concerns about some aspect of a book we're discussing. Just because we've selected a book for CCBC-NET discussion does not imply that your misgivings or lack of enthusiasm for something about a book cannot be expressed on CCBC-NET. We can all understand a book more fully, or appreciate who might enjoy it, as a result of your comments as to whether or not - from your perspective - you value a book, and why. ...Ginny
