CCBC-Net August Discussion Titles

Beginning August 1, we will begin a discussion of two titles by New Zealand author Margaret Mahy. These two titles are:
"The Haunting" (Atheneum, 1982)
"The Changeover" (Atheneum, 1984)
Both books won the Carnegie Medal which is the British equivalent of the Newbery Medal.
We will continue with our discussion of "Walk Two Moons" for the rest of July. We are just announcing the August titles now so that you'll have time to read them before our next discussion begins.
And, as always, you are always welcome to bring up other books and children's literature-related topics on CCBC-Net. We welcome spontaneity, in addition to the wonderful responses we're receiving in the planned discussions. Thanks to all who are participating on the listserv.
